ICC2 is a value-packed, light-to-mid size commercial irrigation controller that delivers more than you expect, just like its famous predecessor. It is designed to control larger projects (up to 54 stations) and offers the water savings you expect from a Hunter controller.
ICC2 can run any two of its four automatic programs simultaneously, providing flexible and efficient watering options. The ICC2 facepack and station output modules are also compatible with original ICC controllers, with upgrade kits available for retrofitting legacy ICC systems.
ICC2 controllers are compatible with Centralus Irrigation Management Software, with three connectivity methods for a variety of applications (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and 4G LTE Cellular). When adding Centralus to standalone ICC2 systems, users can also enable critical flow monitoring capabilities using HFS or HC Flow Meter sensors.
ICC2 controllers are prewired for remote control with Hunter ROAM and ROAM XL transmitters, and have built-in Solar Sync® for automatic water savings, with an optional sensor. ICC2 is available as a plastic outdoor wall mount, metal outdoor wall mount, stainless steel wall mount, or plastic pedestal. Optional matching metal pedestals in gray or stainless are also available.
KEY BENEFITS
Number of stations:
Conventional: 8 to 38 (plastic), 8 to 54 (metal and pedestals)
With two-wire EZDS: up to 54 (all enclosure options)
4 independent irrigation programs (8 start times each) allow for customized scheduling
12-hour maximum station run time provides flexibility for low-flow zones
Any 2 programs can operate simultaneously, providing more efficient watering
1 sensor input available for use with Solar Sync® or any Clik sensors
1 flow sensor input available with WIFIKIT, LANKIT, and CELLKIT Centralus communication modules
1 P/MV output for pump start relay and master valve activation
Backward compatibility to original ICC controllers allows for quick updates to older systems
Forward compatible with HCC Controllers and Hydrawise Software using a convenient upgrade kit
ADVANCED FEATURES
WATERSENSE® SMART WATERING CONTROLLER BY ADDING SOLAR SYNC
Add a Solar Sync® Sensor to your Hunter controller to enable automatic smart control and maximize water savings. Solar Sync measures local weather conditions to help the controller fine-tune watering schedules according to exact site needs. Hunter controllers installed with Solar Sync are independently verified to offer an extensive list of water-saving features. Solar Sync is EPA WaterSense® approved. FLOW MONITORING VIA CLOUD-BASED CENTRALUS SOFTWARE
When adding any Centralus communication module to an ICC2 controller, users also gain a flow sensor input for system-level flow monitoring and reporting. View flow rates in real time, track historical flow totals, and prevent water waste and landscape erosion with automatic high-flow shutdown alerts pushed to your smartphone.
EASY RETRIEVE™ MEMORY
A manual back-up utility that stores complete controller scheduling and setup information in back-up memory.
ONE TOUCH MANUAL START AND ADVANCE
Allows any program to be started manually by simply pressing and holding the right arrow key.
PROGRAMMABLE RAIN DELAY
The Programmable Rain Delay feature enables a user-specified number of days to keep the controller in the OFF mode, following a local rain storm. This will prevent watering during inclement weather, and reverts to automatic scheduled irrigation once the delay period elapses.
QUICK CHECK™
The QuickCheck feature makes field wiring issues easy to assess with the push of a button. QuickCheck displays an ERR message when a field wiring short is detected on a particular station number.
NON-VOLATILE MEMORY
This feature offers protection against unreliable power, retaining current time, date, and program data.
AUTOMATIC SHORT CIRCUIT PROTECTION
Automatic short circuit protection is a feature found in all Hunter AC powered controllers. This feature automatically detects electrical faults, which are typically caused by wiring issues. Only affected stations are skipped, allowing all other stations to water normally as programmed.
SEASONAL ADJUSTMENT: GLOBAL OR AUTOMATIC UPDATES WITH SOLAR SYNC
This feature allows for quick adjustment to irrigation run times based on seasonal weather conditions.
Global: The Global option provides a Seasonal Adjustment percentage to all station Run Times on all of the controller's Programs.
Daily: With the addition of a Solar Sync ET Sensor, the controller has the ability to automatically implement daily adjustments based on measured local weather.
CYCLE AND SOAK
This water-saving feature allows the operator to specify a maximum cycle time for each station, followed by a minimum soak time, to prevent runoff from slopes or saturated soil. The operator can enter any run time, and the controller will automatically divide it into cycles to allow the water to be absorbed during the soak periods. The feature is adjustable for each individual station or Block of stations for unique soil and site conditions.
DELAY BETWEEN STATIONS
Users can program a delay between stations as the controller advances from one station to the next. This delay can range from a few seconds (to permit slow-closing valves additional time to close) to a much longer period of time (to allow pressure tanks time to recharge), based on user requirements.
TOTAL RUN TIME CALCULATOR
This calculates the total duration of a program, based on all of its station run times. This can be used to calculate the end time of a program.
