Its success can be attributed to the fact that, in more than one way, it is a replica of the SUPER-19 tine with the exception that it is bigger and has two leaf packs stacked one above the other. The leaf packs offer the same unique leaf-spring trip-mechanism on the tine (no shear bolt) with a maximum breakout force of 1 500kg. The SUPER-25 and 32 tines have specially been designed to work in stony/sandy soils with a very deep plough bank where the unique design of the shank allows for quick and easy deep penetration in the toughest of soils.
When the tines hit a rigid object, the leaf spring "arches" and thus trips the tine over the obstruction, while the rest of the tines remain at working depth in the ground. This simple, yet effective, trip-mechanism permits trouble-free working with little or no downtime (only two wearing parts).
Frame information:
To match the unrivalled strength of the tine, the implement frames are manufactured from top quality, imported high-tensile steel. The standard 3-point models can have 5 to 11 tines fitted and are rated for tractors from 150 to 520kW. On the Rip-on-the-Row model the tines can be grouped in sets of 2/3 at 1.5 and 2.3m row intervals and rated for tractors from 180 to 600kW.
